Our history

From artisan workshop to international partner

Ti.Emme.Ti S.R.L. was founded in 1995 as a small family business specialising in monotube finishing and wiring. From the very beginning, we have been guided by the same values that still define our identity today: passion, quality and vision.

In 1996, the company officially began operations and started working with Tessilgomma, a leading manufacturer of monotubes for steam generator irons. We soon became a go-to name for contract monotube processing.

The 2000s marked a turning point: moving to larger premises and bringing our main production processes in-house allowed us to broaden our product range and establish ourselves as a manufacturer of components for steam applications (monotubes, silicone tubes and EPDM tubes). Our drive to meet customer needs has always pushed us to seek innovative technical solutions, and these years saw the launch of Ti.Emme.Ti’s first patented products, such as the moulded sleeve and the quick-connect system for steam domestic appliances.

1995

Ti.Emme.Ti S.R.L. is founded as a small family business specialising in monotube finishing.

1996

Official start of operations and partnership with Tessilgomma.

2000

Start of in-house production of silicone and EPDM tubes and components.

2008

ISO 9001 certification and expansion into international markets.

2021

Opening of the new 6,000 m² plant in Settala, near Milan.

With the addition of new extrusion lines, we became a fully fledged manufacturer of silicone and EPDM tubes and components, able to supply technical products for a diverse range of applications. Our team grew, we cemented relationships with major international customers, and in 2008 we achieved ISO 9001 certification, a mark of quality and a gateway to global markets.

In the years that followed, we continued to invest in innovation and sustainability, installing solar panels to reduce our environmental impact, upgrading our production equipment and further diversifying our activities.

In 2018, we introduced hot splicing of silicone extrusions – a specialist process within the sector – and brought compound production and die-making in-house, giving our customers greater flexibility and ensuring full control over the production process.

With the arrival of the next generation and the targeted acquisition of complementary businesses, Ti.Emme.Ti strengthened its market presence, culminating in the opening of the new plant in Settala, near Milan, in 2021: over 6,000 m² of production space that enables us to meet growing and increasingly complex demand.
