Spliced gaskets

Spliced gaskets are one of Ti.Emme.Ti’s specialities, designed to deliver effective sealing, durability and reliability in a wide range of industrial applications. Drawing on our experience and the splicing technology we have developed, we manufacture custom gaskets from extruded silicone tubes or profiles, which are then hot spliced without added material to produce ring gaskets or frame gaskets.

This splicing technique offers:

  • Excellent flexibility at the joint compared to traditional cyanoacrylate bonding.
  • Good tensile strength, even in simple dynamic applications.
  • Higher productivity than producing an equivalent part by moulding.

Hot-spliced gaskets are ideal for static applications in high-volume production, where they deliver high performance at a competitive cost.
