Certifications
Ti.Emme.Ti works to international standards to ensure maximum reliability, safety and transparency. For us, certification is not an end in itself but a practical tool for growth and improvement.
Food contact (MOCA)
We offer a range of certified compounds suitable for food contact (MOCA – Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004), on which overall migration testing has been carried out with the main simulants in accordance with Italian Ministerial Decree 21/03/1973 and BfR Recommendation XXI.
Together with our in-house good manufacturing practice procedures (GMP – Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006), this means our silicone products can be used with complete confidence in food applications, ensuring hygiene, durability and regulatory compliance.
Laboratory and quality control
We have an in-house laboratory equipped to carry out quality checks on both raw materials and finished products.
The main tests include:
- Dimensional and visual inspection of extruded products, including with an optical profile projector
- Rheometric checks and the main physical and mechanical tests on silicone compounds
- Air and steam pressure testing on rubber and silicone tubes
- Flex testing on electrical cables
- Dielectric strength and leakage testing
These checks allow us to certify every production batch, giving customers the assurance of a compliant, long-lasting product.
Tolerances
For all extruded products, dimensional accuracy is of primary importance: meeting dimensional tolerances is therefore fundamental to the quality of our products and, in turn, of our customers’ products.
With in-line optical control systems, we ensure maximum consistency and precision in our measurements, delivering repeatability throughout the production cycle and reducing waste and defects. The international reference standard for the tolerances of extruded rubber and silicone products is ISO 3302-1.
